These industrial shutters are for direct or belt
driven fans and air blower’s exhaust. The shutter blades are cut from solid
aluminum sheet. These shutter blades open when the fan is operating. When
the fan is stopped the shutter closes from the lack of air flow. A center
tie-rod is affixed to the fan side of the shutter blade for stability.
Gravity shutters are designed to inhibit air backflow.
These shutters are designed for vertical mounting as shown.
Gravity Shutter for vertical wall mounting
are available from 8" x 8" square to sizes 30" x 30".
Shutters are also available with motor drive (Voltage and
dimensions required).
