Glossary of "Sold as" Condition Descriptions:
The following item Condition Descriptions apply to products sold by Electric Trading Co - Blowerwheel.com. NO other representations of product condition or fitness for application and end use are implied.
| NEW | New - Factory New, a brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what would be found in a retail store, unless the item was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plain sealed plastic bag, or the item that has been ordered is normally shipped in less than original shipped package quantity, without retail packaging. |
| NOS | New Old Stock – , having its original packaging, but is not current merchandise. Original packaging could be sun faded, discolored, dusty, slightly shelf worn, possibly opened, slightly torn, etc. Product could be +50 years old, showing condition representative of a product kept on a warehouse shelf for corresponding years, the manufacturer may no longer be in business or has changed it's name & typically no factory warranty is implied, etc. |
| SWNOS | Shelf Worn New Old Stock - 100% working but could have noticeable cosmetic imperfections, including paint wear or product scratches, surface rust or oxidation, missing or damaged labels, instructions, etc. including missing or damaged packaging. Items are NOT returnable for these cosmetic or packaging or instruction related imperfections. |
| RSNE | Removed From Surplus New Equipment - RSNE An item that has been removed from surplus new equipment. The item has not been used within it's intended as delivered functionality, but was installed into equipment and may have been briefly tested or operated to perform system test operation. |
| USED | USED An item that has been used previously. The item may have been installed and operated in a piece of equipment. The item may have signs of wear and / or cosmetic imperfections, including paint wear, metal or bearing wear, scratching, surface rust, oxidation, missing or damaged labels, etc., but is considered fully operational and functions as intended. Used items are NOT returnable for limited wear or cosmetic imperfections. The item may have been a floor model or a return that has been used. |
| FPNW | For parts or not working – An item that does NOT function as intended and is NOT fully operational. This includes items that are defective in ways that would render them difficult to use, items that require service or repair before use, or items missing essential components. All items in this category must be inspected and tested for their applicable use PRIOR to any such use |
| REFURB | Refurbished – REFURB An item that has been inspected, cleaned, and deemed fully operational by non-factory authorized or 3rdparty servicer, to operate within the manufacturer's specifications and is in excellent condition. This item may or may not be in the original packaging. |
| MREFURB | Manufacturer Refurbished – MREFURB An item that has been inspected, cleaned, and or repaired by the manufacturer or manufacturer's authorized service, to meet with the manufacturer's advertised specifications and is in excellent condition. This item may or may not be in the original packaging. |
| REMAN | Remanufactured – REMAN An item that has been completely disassembled, cleaned, and examined for wear and breakage. Worn out, missing, or non-functioning components have been replaced with new or rebuilt components. It is the functional equivalent of a new part and is virtually indistinguishable from a new part. |
